::I realize this is a small project. But most of the Wikimedia projects are small. But it can grow. Also even a small project can have something interesting to report.
::And yes, Wikizine is English-centric. It is not the objective to be so. I try to give as much attention as I can to non-English and non-Wikipedia projects. But there is only as much I can do. I am basically Wikizine. The help I get from others is very limited. I can read English (and write it poorly) and Dutch. So the projects I have directly access to for information are very limited. I use translation systems to try to find information in some other language projects. But that works not good and is not reliable. I am depended on feedback form the readers to provide information about there home wiki. And that feedback is extremely rare. And even when I get feedback it is mostly news that I already found myself.
::To change this I am trying where I can to get more people from non-English projects to inform them about the existing of wikizine. When the know the will maybe read it. If the read it the will maybe report some news and/or inform there local community.
::For that reason one of things I do is slowly visit all projects, all languages to ask to add a Wikizine banner to there local village pump and/or community portal. I can see from where the visitors come to my website htt://www.wikizine.org And it is very clear that very large amount of visitors come from the Italian Wikipedia village pump page. There is there someone who is frequently posting (partial) translations from wikizine. [[w:it:Wikipedia:Bar#Avvisi_3]]. That is exactly what I like that people would do that. So can news be spread.
::One project placing a banner or not is not important. But only if a fair amount projects do it I believe it will be possible to reduce the UK-USA impression.
