When we were shooting Paradise Now, I thought there was a traitor inside the crew giving the army information. Maybe it was true, maybe wasn't, but I started to suspect people in my own crew. Because wherever we went, whatever plan we had, the army was there. Maybe by accident, maybe it's the army's job to be there! But you start to suspect people, and it's a very horrible feeling – a nightmare. [...] When you become paranoid, you start to believe the unbelievable.
