È tutto così surreale... non so cosa dire, non so cosa fare. La notizia di stamattina ha portato tanto dolore nelle nostre vite e allo stesso tempo tanta riflessione. Non abbiamo perso solo un caro amico ma anche un grande talento. Era splendido vedere i Decapitated diventare sempre più grande ad ogni passo. Abbiamo appena finito il nostro show di Denver, Colorado. Non abbiamo suonato per noi stessi; non abbiamo suonato per la gente. Tutto quello che abbiamo potuto fare era il migliore show metal che potessimo in onore al nostro amico. Ci vediamo nell'aldilà, Vitek!

It's still so abstract to me…I don't know what to say, don't know what to do. This morning's news brought a lot of pain in our lives and some reflections at the same time. We're not only missing a dear friend but also a great talent. It was so awesome to watch Decapitated growing bigger and bigger with every step they made. We just went off the stage in Denver, Colorado. Tonight we didn't play for ourselves; we didn't play for these people either. All we could do was to put up the best metal show we could afford in honor of our friend. See you in the afterlife, Vitek! (Nergal)

Ho avuto il piacere di dividere il palco con Vitek e il resto dei ragazzi dei Decapitated in diverse occasioni. La sua abilità nel suonare parlava chiaro; lui era un talento incredibile e chissà quale grandezza aveva in serbo per lui il futuro. È molto triste sentire tutto ciò e questo deve essere esponenzialmente più doloroso in Polonia, dato che erano veramente l'orgoglio della loro nazione. Le mie condoglianze vanno ai suoi compagni di band, i suoi amici, quelli amati, la famiglia e specialmente suo fratello Vogg.

I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Vitek and the rest of the Decapitated boys on a number of occasions. His drumming skills spoke volumes; he was an incredible talent and one can only guess as to what greatness was in store for him and his future endeavors. This is very saddening to hear and it must be exponentially worse in Poland since they really are the pride of their home country. My condolences go out to his band mates, his friends, loved ones, family and especially his brother Vogg. (Raymond Herrera)

La comunità metal ha perso uno dei più talentuosi e capaci batteristi del nostro tempo! Mi ricordo quando ho ascoltato per la prima volta 'Organic Hallucinosis' e mi fece impazzire! Che band e che batterista!!! Vitek era un vero talento e un genio della batteria, la sua perdita è molto molto ingiusta! Il futuro sarà un posto più triste senza il tuo drumming!!! I nostri pensieri vanno alla band e alle loro famiglie in questo triste, triste momento. Riposa in pace, Vitek.

The metal community has lost one of the most talented and skillful drummers of our time! I remember when I first heard DECAPITATED's 'Organic Hallucinosis' and it just blew me away! What a band and WHAT A DRUMMER!!! Vitek was a true talent and drummer genius and his passing is just so very, very wrong! The future will be a sadder place without your drumming!!! Sono veramente distrutto da questa prematura scomparsa. Vitek era senza dubbio uno dei più talentuosi e laboriosi batteristi del metal estremo. Lui è stata una grande ispirazione per me, un'incredibile forza dietro il kit. Morire in un'età così giovane e in circostanze così drammatiche è terribile. I'm truly devastated about this untimely passing. Vitek was without a doubt one of the most talented and hard-working extreme metal drummers around. He was a great inspiration to me, a mind-blowing force behind the kit. To die at such a young age and in such dramatic circumstances is just horrible.
