*Lo scopo di mostrare tutti questi sanguinolenti scazzottamenti è quello di fare il punto circa la natura bestiale dell'uomo e ciò che può accadere quando gli effetti di stordimento della fatica di ogni giorno sono la causa per cui le persone diventano un po' matte. Gli uomini che diventano membri del Fight Club sono vittime del potere disumanizzante e anestetizzante della società moderna. Sono diventati ingranaggi di una ruota. L'unico modo in cui possono ritrovare un senso di individualità è entrare in contatto con i primordiali istinti barbarici di dolore e violenza.

*Senza andare nello specifico, posso affermare che è presente una somiglianza strutturale con ''[[The Sixth Sense - Il sesto senso|Il sesto senso]]''. In ''Fight Club'' lo stravolgimento finale non è lo scopo finale del film ed è integrato in modo più efficace con l'intera storia. Se riesci a dedurre la cosiddetta "sorpresa" ne ''Il sesto senso'' in anticipo rispetto a quando il regista lo ha programmato, è difficile non vedere il film come una prolissa e irregolare palese manipolazione. Al contrario ''Fight Club'' possiede la profondità e l'ampiezza per padroneggiare l'attenzione dello spettatore e rispettare chi riesce a svelare il presuntuoso stravolgimento al centro della trama prima che venga esplicitamente rivelato. È anche interessante notare che questo non accade proprio alla fine, quindi, sebbene sia un aspetto importante di ''Fight Club'', non determina il successo o il fallimento del film.

The opposite is true of Fight Club, which possesses the depth and breadth to command the attention and respect of anyone who unveils the central conceit before it is explicitly revealed. It's also worth noting that this doesn't happen at the very end, so, while it is an important aspect of Fight Club, it does not dictate the movie's success or failure.''
