*Penso che [[Phil Anselmo|lui]] sia probabilmente uno dei frontman più enigmatici dei nostri tempi. È di un'ispirazione tremenda per i cantanti di tutti i generi, incluso me. So che ci sono delle stranezze riguardo l'"incidente" {{NDR|l'omicidio di Dimebag Darrell}}, ma so per certo che Phil non avrebbe mai potuto pensare di fare del male al compianto Dime. Sai, il mondo è un luogo veramente estremo. Quando un fan si connette così tanto con una band che il suo scioglimento, in qualsiasi modo lo interpretino, li porta a pensare alla loro vita e alla loro esistenza... penso sia strano. Ci sono così tanti tipi di musica che ispirano quella passione nelle persone e per fortuna il metal è uno di essi. È stata solo sfortuna che questo animale abbia preso così seriamente lo scioglimento dei [[Pantera]] da dargli una giustificazione per fare ciò che ha fatto. Ha tolto la vita probabilmente a uno dei più grandi chitarristi che abbia messo piede sulla Terra.

*{{NDR|A proposito del reflusso gastroesofageo avuto nel 2005}} Prendevo lansoprazolo da qualche anno e il mio corpo ha creato una difesa contro di esso, al punto che non faceva più effetto... Ho passato una notte di bevute a Londra seguita da un giorno e notte di bevute in un giorno libero a Dublino, perché cos'altro c'è da fare in Irlanda se non bere? Quello, in coppia con uno show in cui ho avuto problemi di controllo, e ho abbastanza rovinato la mia voce.
