Milton Obote: differenze tra le versioni

*L'abominevole sistema di governo instaurato dal Movimento dell'NRA/NRM è caratterizzato dalla soppressione – nella politica, nelle elezioni e nel governo – dei diritti umani e delle libertà dati da Dio agli individui; è stato ed è tuttora sostenuto per mezzo di inequivocabili e rilevanti omicidi di massa che, a loro volta, hanno prodotto la cultura delle armate ribelli ed il sistema è perciò un crimine contro l'umanità che, inspegabilmente, è stato e continua ad essere sostenuto, lodato e fortemente finanziato dai governi delle più antiche democrazie. Kanangu, una comunità rurale in cui tutti gli adulti si conoscono tra di loro e sono quotidianamente in contatto dovrebbe mettere sull'avviso i governi delle più antiche democrazie, sia pure in ritardo prima del referendum, sul fatto che c'è qualcosa di estremamente orribile e malvagio in un sistema di governo sotto il quale massacri e seppellimenti possono avvenire in un'area rurale in cui tutti si conoscono tra di loro senza che non una sola persona sia al corrente di nulla sui massacri ed i seppellimenti segreti. Anche nel caso che tutte le vittime erano estranee come gli hutu o i congolesi è impossible che nessuno a Kanungu sapesse degli omicidi di massa e dei seppellimenti, cosa che quindi fa sorgere la domanda sul perché i residenti di Kanungu ignorino completamente tutto.

:''The abominable system of governance established by the NRA/NRM/Movement, is characterized by the removal of the God given human rights and freedoms of the individual from politics, elections and governance; has been and is sustained by pronounced and preponderant mass killings which, in turn, has produced the culture of rebel armies and the system is therefore a crime against humanity but which, unaccountably, has been and is still being supported, praised and heavily financed by governments in the older democracies. Kanungu, a rural community where all the adults know one another and are in daily contact, should alert the governments in the older democracies, even at this late hour before the referendum, that there is something most horrible and wicked in a system of governance under which massacres and burials can occur in a rural area where everyone knows one another without any single person knowing anything about the massacres and secret burials. Even if the victims were all foreigners such as the Hutus or Congolese it is impossible that no one in Kanungu knew of the mass killings and burials which therefore raises the question of why the total ignorance of the Kanungu residents.''<ref name="masskillings"/>

*La dittatura dell'Uganda ed i governi delle più antiche democrazie sono decisi ad ingannare e a frodare l'opinione pubblica mondiale per farle credere che la dittatura che è in vigore da ormai oltre 14 anni e sotto il cui regime è stata instaurata la cultura degli omicidi di massa, in realtà non esiste e che ci sia stata e ci sia tanta libertà politica in Uganda che il prossimo Giugno l'elettorato deve scegliere ed adottare un sistema di governo in un referendum libero e giusto. L'inganno e la frode emergono chiaramente in quanto il referendum si svolgerà su un sistema di governo de facto che ha rimosso dalla politica il godimento e l'esercizio da parte dei cittadini dei loro diritti umani e delle loro libertà. Che il referendum sia destinato a rendere permanente questa rimozione non è riconosciuto ma al contrario nascosto dalla dittatura e dai governi delle più antiche democrazie.

:''The Uganda dictatorship and the governments in the older democracies are determined to dupe and defraud world opinion to believe that the dictatorship which has now existed for over 14 years and under which the culture of mass killings has been established, does not in fact exist and that there has been and there is so much political freedom in Uganda that the electorate are due this coming June to choose and adopt a system of governance in a free and fair referendum. The dupery and fraud come out clearly in that the referendum is to be held under a de facto political system of governance which has removed from politics the enjoyment and exercise by the citizen of his/her human rights and freedoms. *Nel febbraio del 1981, [[Yoweri Museveni]] ha scatenato e combattuto per quattro anni una guerra feroce nel distretto di Luwero. La falsa e pretestuosa ragione addotta era che le elezioni del dicembre 1980 erano state manipolate. Sebbene lui e i membri del suo partito fossero liberi di presentare ricorso presso la Corte Suprema per ottenere riparazione, ha evitato la Corte precisamente per due motivi. Il primo era che non poteva provare dinnannzi alla Corte che le elezioni erano state alterate. Il secondo motivo era che nel 1979/80 aveva costituito un esercito personale per la conquista e governo dell'Uganda in base a un regime che sopprime i diritti umani e le libertà dei singoli cittadini.

:''In February 1981, Yoweri Museveni launched and waged a vicious war for four years in Luwero District. His fake and spurious reason was that the December 1980 elections had been rigged. Although he and members of his Party were free to petition the High Court for redress, he avoided the Court precisely on two grounds. The first was that he could not prove in Court that the elections had been rigged. The second ground was that he had in 1979/80 raised a personal army for the conquest and governance of Uganda under a system, which suppresses the human rights and freedoms of the individual citizen.''<ref name="masskillings"/>

*Noi qui in Uganda, per esempio, non vogliamo che i cinesi o i russi siano i nostri padroni domani, così come non vogliamo né accettiamo che, direttamente o indirettamente, qualsiasi potenza occidentale sia il nostro padrone.
