:''Fantastic. Completely self-assured, but also vulnerable. It's full of sounds I recognize, the dreamy romanticism of Kate Bush, the art priestess incantantions of Patti Smith, the airy melodicism of Joni Mitchell, the heavy undertow of Black Sabbath (or maybe Nirvana), but it's also original, or at least the work of an artist coming into her own voice. The arrangements are full of memorable touches, some funny and some pulling hard at your heart. Honestly, I rarely hear an Italian artist and wonder why he or she isn't a star in the United States (we're a provincial people; we like our songs in English), but with Cristina Donà, I wonder.''
:''Banish all stereotypes of italian pop and its cheesy operatics, Donà is a subtle, sensitive singer-songwriter [...]. She's also a mistress of gentle melancholy and naggingly memorable tunes [...]. Donà can be smart, sad and funny, often in the same tune. Curious punters won't be disappointed''. (John Bungey, recensione sulla rivista musicale Mojo, ottobre 2004)
