So here is my obligatory fall color photo for the season. I actually found something worthwhile to photograph in Tullahoma (where I live). The previous day, I was driving past and the color caught my attention. Since I worked that day, I had to wait till the next day to take the picture. I was hoping it was not going to be cloudy or the leaves had not changed colors in that time span. This my record for the shortest time between capturing an image, processing it, and uploading it to Flickr: 37 Minutes. The photo was taken at 13:40, uploaded to my home computer at 13:54, and uploaded to Flickr at 14:17. Of course I am wondering now why it took nearly 10 minutes to drive the 4.1 km (2.5 mi) to my house, and what took place in the 23 minutes of processing time. Even though I went through my normal workflow (Canon Zoom Browser EX, Picasa2, and Exifer) hardly any processing was done. But thats the way things go for me. Its now 15:12 as I type, and I have gotten way off the subject, and have not accomplished anything else besides tagging and describing this photo either. Oh and if anyone knows what kind of tree this is from this picture, post a comment. I don't ID trees. Its probably hard to tell with out a leaf I am sure. I also took this on ISO100 film. We will see how that turns out. |
